First it was the All-New Mazda CX-50. Now, Mazda is Adding Two More Rugged SUVs to their Lineup, and We have Your Sneak Peek

Drivers around the world count on the Mazda brand to deliver a collection of SUVs that are stylish, fun to drive, and crafted with high-end materials. The carmaker has produced a variety of SUVs over the years, with something to please everyone. Now, the Mazda SUV family is growing, and Fitzgerald Mazda of Frederick has the inside scoop.

Based on the same chassis as the subcompact Mazda CX-30, the Mazda CX-50 was the first new SUV announced by our favorite carmaker. Already available here in the Germantown and Hagerstown area, the CX-50 has a slightly larger frame than the perennially popular Mazda CX-5, with a rugged outward appearance that’s sure to appeal to many drivers.

In addition to this exciting, all-new SUV, it’s now been announced that two more highly anticipated SUVs will also be joining the collection, arriving here in the Frederick and Gaithersburg area later this year.

The first new model that we want to tell you about is the Mazda CX-70. A midsized SUV, it will have four doors and seating for five people. Larger than the CX-5 and CX-50, this upscale SUV is coming to us with an anticipated plug-in hybrid powertrain, but what that means and whether it’s true remains to be seen when this model finally arrives.

Next to the CX-70, drivers should also be on the lookout for the upcoming, 2023 Mazda CX-90. A three-row SUV that’s perfect for Leesburg, VA families, this new, top-of-the-line Mazda SUV will replace the currently available CX-9 option.
